On August 20, 2017, Karolina Zavisiute will attempt something that most people wouldn’t dream about. She’s planning to run a marathon up Pike’s Peak to raise money for children in domestic abuse cases.
Karolina will make her attempt at the run, a 7,815-foot elevation gain on a single person path, starting in Manitou Springs, ascending the mountain, and returning to the beginning.
Karolina’s run will benefit some of the most deserving, children who have been involved in domestic violence cases. Her run is raising money to provide everything from toys to food and clothing for these children. She is partnering with the Cottleville, MO Police Department to make it happen.
Donating here isn’t the only way to help. The Cottleville PD is also set up to take direct donations of new toys and toiletries. We have provided a downloadable shopping list here, so you can help while back to school shopping and drop off your donations.
Everything helps, and 100% of your donations will go towards this important cause.
